Psychological rehabilitation of military personnel and their families
DoLadu psychological rehabilitation in wartime.
Help for the military, veterans, and their families.
$ 312 000
The war has tested both the physical and mental health of Ukrainians. The military suffers the most damage, as they must continue fighting for Ukraine's freedom despite their losses.
According to a Gradus survey, 51% of military personnel need psychological rehabilitation today. Families and friends of the defenders also need professional psychological support. At the same time, according to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, only 45 medical institutions in Ukraine provide psychological assistance to veterans and their families.

The demand for professional, up-to-date, evidence-based psychological assistance significantly exceeds available resources.

Ukraine's defenders risk the most precious thing their lives  for our security. They deserve the best.
While the state focuses on providing proper physical rehabilitation for all those who have lost their physical health due to the war, the DoLadu project team will create a national network to help people regain their mental health. To do this, we are:
  • 01
We will unite professional psychologists and psychiatrists around the initiative and create conditions for improving their competence in treating depression, PTSD, and addictions.
  • 02
Based on existing medical facilities, we will create a network of mental health centers that will meet modern international standards and offer evidence-based and effective methods of treating psychological disorders.
  • 03
We will provide psychological support to 1200 people who are defenders and veterans of Ukraine.
We strive to:
  • 01
    Helping Ukrainians
We will implement modern treatment protocols in existing medical institutions in Ukraine.
  • 02
    Unite and strengthen specialists
We will find mental health professionals who are eager to help Ukrainians and integrate the best international practices of screening, referral, and therapy into their work with patients.
  • 03
    Destigmatize psychological help
We strive to remove the stigma from the field of psychological assistance and implement programs to prevent mental disorders.
